Eyking Farms has been growing iceberg lettuce as a mainstay of its farming operations for many years. Iceberg lettuce is widely consumed around the world and is the most popular of all the lettuce types. It is characterized by tightly furled, crunchy leaves and a mild, sometimes watery flavour. Known as a crisphead lettuce, iceberg is very firm and crunchy.

Nutritional Facts

Iceberg is a good source of fibre, minerals, and vitamins such as A and K. Like most lettuces, it has few calories.

How to eat

Iceberg lettuce is best when very cold and crunchy in salads, garnishes, lettuce wraps and shredded in tacos and on sandwiches.
